a dificult week for me

I study in the facultad de quimica UNAM, I´m study for QFB (chemical-biological pharmaceutical), , this carrier is heavy but i like it, but I feel that this week was very very heavy for me because I'm in the last weeks of classes at my school and I had many tests and papers to deliver this week, but the problem was that my computer broke and I had to do my homework on school computers, but I wanted all my documents saves I have in my memory.

Finally yesterday I gave up my computer repaired and I could finish some tasks.

The hardest of the week was that I slept too little time and work, as well as the subway was slow and I had to get up and leaved early, but I have only to wait a two weeks to be on vacation and I can be relax.

But there were also good things this week because it was my dad's birthday and we had a party at my house was dirvertido as my sister and I made all the preparations and cooked a cake, my father liked her party and its gifts.

I think you should always be positive that everything is going right and that no problem is an impediment to do it.

An escape to the Highlands!

Northern Scotland’s territory is known as “The Highlands”. A place where you can breathe incredible history and culture. Also a mystical and holy land for Celtics, sharing its music and customaries until the present.

Well, that was a good introduction to be able to enjoy your trip trough this truly exciting land. So, first step would be getting to Scotland either Glasgow or Edinburgh, where you can find some non expensive accommodation. Then, our second step is getting some way to travel to the north.

The most suitable option, in my opinion, would be renting a car and driving trough the highway. In that way, we’ll get the opportunity to stop anytime we wish to admire amazing lochs and mountains carved by wind.

In your way to the highlands, you’ll find the “William Wallace Monument”, the “Loch Long”, uncountable landscapes! If you think there’s missing something, you are right, you mustn’t forget to get to the extremely famous “Loch Ness” and trying to capture in media the real Nessy!

You’ll have so much fun and amazing experiences, but in the other you’ll be really tired. So, my final advice, take some rest at Inverness, the biggest city in the highlands, which means it is not that big. In fact you’ll find a pretty and cozy town which will make you think in “Coca-Cola Village”.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The last week I went to the cinema, when I was choosing the movie I was going to see I read “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, so I read the synopsis and I thought that the movie could be funny, so got a ticket for it.

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” chronicles the adventures of a wisecracking pre-teen called Greg Heffley, who must “survive” the scariest part of his life… middle school.

To Greg, middle school is the most stupid idea ever invented. He thinks that middle school is a place rigged with hundreds of social landmines. To survive that stage and also attain the recognition and status he feels he so richly deserves, Greg devises an endless series of ideas or plans, but all of them of course go awry.

All that happens in his life was written by him on paper, via diary. But he says that “It´s not a diary, It´s a journal”. He filled the journal with his opinions, thoughts, etc.

I think it´s a good movie, because it´s really funny, the kid and his friend are very hilarious. I laugh a lot.

Smile and live more years.

Not only happy people live more years than a "grouch", but also they take a healthier life.

Avoid to have negative ideas, try not get angry easily, live together positive people, and enjoy your job, school, etc. are some "tips" to get a good day.

When I am angry or a little stressed, I try to see cartoons, a comic movie or program and there is no doubt that "smile is a infalible remedy".

I hope you like these jokes.

Some signs:

In the entrance of The National Museum Train in New Delhi: " Smoking is permitted only to the locomotives"

While I was driving in the highway, I saw a police sign that said: "Denounce to the drivers using a cellphone. Please call *99".

In a hospital:

A patient visit a doctor to ask him to make a vasectomy and the doctor question him if he already commented on his family, and the patient answered: "Yes, they voted 17 to 2".

A patient shows to the doctor her information about some analysis, then the doctor cheks ones with worried face and said:

-we must have to order a little plaque.

-x-ray of thorax, doctor?

-no...made of marble.

(I think it's a little cruel, ja ja ja)

Finally, the good humor stimulates parts of the brain.

Do you know that: smile, eat chocolate and have sex are the most important activities enjoyed?

Pompeii´s House Of The Gladiators Collapses

One of the most archaeologically important houses in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii collapsed during the early hours of Saturday November 8

The house of the gladiators that had been used by combatants to train or relax before entering the amphitheatre, crumbled in the dawn.

The director of excavations said that the cause of collapse wasn´t yet known and the archeologists were inspecting it to assess the damage, however some believe the damagewas caused by faulty restoration in the 50´s and by the heavy rains.

This house near of two thousand years old is closed to the public but is still one of the most popular places in Pompeii

Baby dies in washing machine
November 10, 2010 | Category (s): Weird, Odd News
One infant died 10 days after his mother put him into the machine along with a lot of clothes without realizing it. The baby, Maggie May, spent 40 minutes in the washer until it was discovered. It has happened in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

A relative who came to visit her mother, Lyndsey Fiddler, found the woman fainted and the baby disappeared. Heard a strange noise in the washer and when opened discovered the crumpled body of Maggie.

The desperate mother called emergency to say her daughter was dead, reports the Daily Mail
But the police have accused the mother of second-degree murder in addition to being arrested for drug possession. A veteran case officer stated that this is "the most horrible crime that had been neck."

Research has revealed that the baby spent the first full cycle of the washer.
The family of the mother, who already had two other children, was worried about as you would deal with the arrival of your new baby, and they knew their relationship with drugs. In fact, Lyndsey, 16, was arrested in her fourth month of pregnancy, drug use.

This was horrible, awful this hasn’t name.

i dont know if this girl WAS aware of leaving her baby in the washing machine, but if so then it was too cruel. for girl of 16 years caring for a baby is a lot of responsibility, also addicted to drugs ,just imagine how the baby Suffer When He Was in the wash machine.

I think that in this case someone have to take care of the baby because the girl didn’t have the enough age to take care a baby.

Poor baby didnt have to suffer and die this way.

ONE DAY IN MEXICO CITY´S SUBWAY

Hello every body, I was suppose to post today, but earlier, and not exactly what I´m going to post jaja, I want to share with all of you my experience in the subway these days in my way to my job, to be precise in the line 7.

Every morning seems to be as a normal day, but everything change when I got to the subway. Actually, everyday I take the same way, station"popotla" to "tacuba" and then I take the transfer to the orange line until "constituyentes" but in the transfer starts the adventure.

Everyone could think that in the part where only women can abord could be easier but is completly false, women are more agressive than men, and at that time normally at 8:30 am the subway is full, and is horrendous try to get in. Despite this I always get into, crashed, but I get into jaja.

For instance, last friday I was willing to get into the wagon when the policemen started to shout "everybody, get out of the wagons" I was late for my job and I was worry about that instead of wondered what was happening, so I run as fast as I could trying to get to my job but in my way I thought "Everything happens for a reason" so I prefered not to worry and I rather not to go to my job.

The reason why I´m posting today to late is because I got out late from my job, I mean at 6:30pm, when I get in to the subway there was a person informing that the subway service was going to be slow, in that moment I got worry, every second passed the passageway was more and more full, so after half and hour I decided to get out of there, in fact a lot of people took the same decision. Then I took a taxi, and I was lucky because he didn´t want to take me home he had already finished his turn and he was going to "coyoacan" and I was going to "camarones" so I begged him and I convinced him jeje, I didnt know what else to do or what bus took to get to my home!.

Finally, the man left me in "bellas artes" station, and again I can say that every thing happens for a reason, I saw a very good friend that I had not seen since high school.

After that, I got to my home but ask me at what time, Ive been sitting here for one hour more or less, in other words, since 8:30 pm when normally I arrived at 7:00pm.

And every day is the same. However I´m not going to complain because these setbacks are the things that make a difference in my way to my job and viceversa.

my travel to peru and ecuador

Two years ago by September i traveled to Ecuador and Peru for a month for a cultural showing folklore.

First I was in Ecuador by 17 days, here I knew people from Venezuela, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and obviously Ecuador!!

With my dance group I didn’t have a nice communication and I thought that the trip had been boring but I was in wrong because I never socialized with people from other countries and nowadays it’s one of the most beautiful memories that I have in my heart!

I did friendship with everyone but with my biggest friendship was with the people of Venezuela; this group was of little girls that since the first time that we saw we felt very comfortable! And the next days, day by day Venezuela and I was together in everything that we could! When was time that Venezuela arrived I couldn’t say they good bye because all the day I had been vomiting and I felt nauseous but it was no problem to continuing our friendship because nowadays I still talking and chatting with my Venezuelan friends.

After Ecuador we traveled to Peru first in a little bus by 8 hours and in the border of Ecuador and Peru we changed to another but bigger bus when we traveled by 13 hours it was very uncomfortable. We arrived in the night and all we wanted was slept in a bed! The next day we know our new international friends. Here we knew people from Greek, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Egypt and Costa Rica. Here I did nice friends, not like in Ecuador but that people was nice with me. One day I sprained my feet and Venezuelan people was taking care of me all the time.

In fact if someone asked me if a repeated this trip with all certain I would do… YES!

POLLUTION IN THE EARTH PLANET

All of us, have been felling and seeing the unexpected changes of weather, suddenly it’s raining, suddenly it’s windy, suddenly it’s very hot, etc., nobody knows how the weather will be next day…. But all this is a consequence of pollution around the world, people are not conscious about how their actions can contribute to this changes, so, the real problem start in our houses, sometimes we allow spill water, or we let lights and stoves turn on by many large time…. Or simply, we throw the trash in the street or in whatever another place where it doesn’t should be. Floods have injured many places, caused kills and destroyed houses as consequence of global warming.
However, governments are trying of reduce the pollution in their countries, but it’s not sufficient, I think all of us, need to change our mind, and be conscious about the way of our planet in the future, this planet is the place where our kids will grow!! And when they born, it will be a real garbage dump, and the air that they breathe won’t be air, it will be smoke.
To correct the course of this huge problem is not easy, but if each one of us do something to improve it, may be we will count with water and oil petroleum by many years, to change it situation is responsibility of all people and not only of government.
Turn off the light, and your son will see the light in the night….

"La Dulzura", the new great album from "Cultura Profética"

This year, the band released the record "La Dulzura" since 2006, when they recorded their last album. As their fans know, Cultura Profética is always compromized with social causes and they expresses them in each and every production, but this time, they left the demands just a little behind to make songs about what they think is time to write and believe... sweetness, love. About that, in the song "Rimas pa' seducir" they clearly say "...In these times i look for love, thinking about things that makes me laugh..."

For the people who doesn't know Cultura Profética, this is a great chance to be happy with one of the greatest reggae bands from Latin America. They were the first latin group that recorded at Tuff&Gong studio which was the one where Bob Marley made his songs, but that's just one reason of their importance, because their music is the main proof to know that these guys are just amazing musicians and they have in Willy Rodríguez (their frontman), one artist who writes marvellous pieces of poetry and reflection. They have been playing since 1996, writing about what they wish, as Puerto Rico's freedom, the end of the racism, etc., and their music is mainly reggae roots, but they like walk trough ska, jazz, funk, hip-hop and even tango. So, if you don't know Cultura Profética, "La Dulzura" is a very good option to get into them.

They just had a tour in Mexico for introducing their album, and they performed in this country from October 19 to November 7, when they played at the Polyforum Siqueiros which was a total sold out event.

The first single extracted from "La Dulzura" is called "La Complicidad" and if I learned well how to post, you will can enjoy it right here... Music is life!!!

Disturbing Dreams

There were two friends, Tom and Pepe, talking about their most disturbing dreams.  Tom asked Pepe, “What have been your most disturbing dream?” and Pepe said, “A few nights ago, I dreamt that I was in jail because I committed a terrible crime. In that dream, I used to eat human flesh like Hannibal Lecter, so I had to kill people in order to have food enough. I was OK killing and eating people until the police caught me. And what about you, Tom? What have been your most disturbing dream?” Tom said, “One time, I had a nasty and embarrassing dream. It’s difficult for me to tell you.” “Ohhh, come on! Tell me, we are friends and you know I’m going to keep your secret safe”, said Pepe. So Tom said, “I dreamt that I was with my mom. We were naked and doing nasty things. I feel terrible about it!” Pepe told Tom, “Don’t worry my friend, that is a common dream.” “Really? I think I was a pig or a sick person for that” said Tom. Pepe told Tom, “You’re not a pig! I have dreamt with your mom too! A lot of times!

Trainspotting the film!!!...

Well!!!.. Trainspotting is a 1996 British drama film directed by Danny Boyle based on the novel of the same name by Irvine Welsh.
This movie follows a group of heroin addicts in a late 1980s economically depressed area of Edinburgh and their passage through life.
The film stars when Ewan McGregor as Mark Renton, Ewen Bremner as Spud, Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy, Kevin McKidd as Tommy, Robert Carlyle as Begbie, and Kelly Macdonald as Diane. Author Irvine Welsh also has a cameo appearance as hapless drug dealer Mikey Forrester....

"The Academy Award-nominated screenplay, by John Hodge, was adapted from Welsh's novel. It does not contain any references to the hobby of train spotting. The title is a reference to an episode in the original book (not included in the film) where Begbie and Renton meet "an auld drunkard" who turns out to be Begbie's estranged father, in the disused Leith Central railway station, which they are visiting to use as a toilet. He asks them if they are "trainspottin'."
Beyond drug addiction, other concurrent themes in the film are exploration of the urban poverty and squalor in "culturally rich" Edinburgh."

The film has been ranked 10th spot by the British Film Institute (BFI) in its list of Top 100 British films of all time. In 2004 the film was voted the best Scottish film of all time.

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed- interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit- crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?..." I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got heroin?... Renton of trainspotting..

OKOK!!... One day, Renton decides to quit heroin. He prepares for heroin withdrawal by acquiring soups, pornography, Valium and buckets for vomit, urine, faeces as well as nailing wooden planks over the door. Realising he needs one last high,.... Gritty’ is probably the most used adjectives to describe Trainspotting, teh film that shocks with its graphic portrayal of the lives of a group of Scottish men and their addictions. This isn’t a film for the faint-hearted, though, because it will take a strong stomach to watch as the characters spiral out of control. In Edinburgh, a group of low-life friends are in the depths of a heroin-induced lifestyle. Renton appears to be the only one who genuinely wants to clean up his life and be rehabilitated into society. This proves difficult, though, as his friend continue to drag him down.... What you may expect when reading the plot is a film condoning the use of drugs but within ten minutes of watching you’ll realise you’re watching the heartbreaking story of the destruction of these young men at the hands of their own deadly decisions. Just as it seems things can’t get any worse, Renton and his friends sink to new depths of depravity.

Religulous - The Thruth Is Near

This is a documentary directed by Larry Charles and starring Bill Maher, the name of the movie comes from the words "religion" and "ridiculous" which gives a clearer idea of what´s the documentary.

From the beginning Mather shows what´s his point of view about the religion, for example he says "I think that tje religion is harmful for the humanity progress..."and during all the movie he travel around different places questioning people about what´s their opinion about cristianism, catolicism, judaism, etcetera, whatever religion belong them.

In the course of his travel he meets a lot of so-called "God´s sent" and spiritual leaders that seems that only they are there for advantaging of the persons whom believe that has the answers for all the questions.

Maher makes the questions that left unanswered to the supposed enlightened believers, asking questions while extremely strong and direct against people's beliefs, demonstrating not only that their religion is based on pure lies if not that they themselves as supposed representatives of this know the correct information and they contardict

This message conveyed by the movie's great, because we are called to be free in our minds and take responsibility for our own actions instead of trying to deposit of the burden in a God who will most likely not even listening to us.

It also makes us to doubt, because the knowledge comes from the doubt and not to accept absolute truths that are not based on anything.

Traveling in Chiapas

Have you ever visited Chiapas?, I recomend you to do it.

Do you know that Chiapas is the only mexican state by own decision?

Its name "Chiapan" means "water below hill", and really there is a lot of water in everywhere, therefore, you will discover many vegetation.

You will be able to find cultural places like Yaxchilán, Palenque, Bonampak; old constructions with different styles in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapa de Corzo, San Cristobal de las Casas; museums; many national parks with waterfalls.

Oh! and something very important: a lot of kinds of foods and drinks like tamales made of chipilin, tipic candies, pozol drink, etc.

People is excellent craftsman with looms, ambar, etc.

Well, Chiapas is a wonderful place, I think if you want to visit it, you would take a week at least, and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Oh, Oh, an advice: don't take a picture in the church or somebody in "Chamula town, because it is not permited, and maybe you would be able to have problems with the people.

Hall or Ween?

Do you remember being a child? Waiting for all special days marked on calendars… Well I just have to admit, one of them was Halloween. You know, this special time when kids get dressed in costumes inspired by monsters, vampires, werewolves, extraterrestrials, etc.

So, I used to plan for long time my one-day personality, got ready for the day and left home to collect a lot of candies and maybe, just maybe some chocolates.

Later, as I grow up, I realized that being a Mexican means that it could be hard to deal with the fact this tradition is not ours. That is completely true but, anyway, do you think it would be wrong just having some fun and not taking it too serious?

Whatever it’d be your thoughts, I'd say it should be a matter of tolerance and peaceful coexistences. What would be your advice?
