Ecological Reserves

In Mexico there are many ecological reserves and is important that everbody knows the wonderful and beautiful that they are, for example in Yucatan, one of the most important reserves is Rio Lagarto.

A paradise for lovers of the nature, declared Refuge of Wild Fauna for the Mexican Government, Rio Lagarto is a sanctuary of a population of 30000 flamingos roses, deer, pheasants, crocodiles, jaguars and exotic species of flowers and trees. It's a good place to practice the ecotourism, every year this place grows as a place of pilgrimage for scientists and admirers of the flora and fauna.

During the tour for this zone, the conquerors warned the presence of big reptiles of enourmous jaws and long tails that they identified as lizards. Really they were crocodiles but in Europe this species wasn't known, the most similar animal to this species were the lizards.
For this reason the place was called Rio Lagarto.

PUNTA LAGUNA
The jungle of Punta Laguna consist of enormous and leafy tropical trees, dispersed among the rest of vegetation, for the persistence of a fixed idea they have not been felled to sow the crop that the people need so much.

This fixed idea is the conservation of 'the mount' wich is habitat of the spider monkey and of a lot of kinds of birds of different forms, colors, customs and singings. In Punta Laguna the guessed right vision of a group of members of the community has allowed to have intact the lands from a jungle which shows a beutiful place for everybody. The most representative forms of life of one of the ecosystems most advanced by the activities of the development of our civilization.

I've always wondered how the hell the know that there are 30,000 flamingos in any one place (or 3,000,000 buffalos in the Wild West, or 100,000 people in a free concert, or 35,000 coins in a stack).

Do they count them all, one by one?

Yeah, right.
