Troubles with some riddles!!!!

I want to show you a group of riddles that i found so pretty good and they are here:

1. Anyone with culinary qualities can take some eggs and elaborate a tortilla with them. Of course is hard. How much would make a device that receive tortillas as inputs and the output produced shell eggs?

Are you able to find a solution to this problem?

.....Answer:

There is already a workable solution: a live chicken. Feed it with with tortillas and thanks to its interior design, produce and whole eggs separated.

2. Are you able to get the numbers from 0 to 9 as a result of mathematical operations using 4 fours and basic arithmetic operations (addition, substraction, multiplication and division)?

For example, suposse that you want to get the number 15,a possible solution would be (4*4)-(4/4)=15

.....Answer:

0 = 4 + 4 - 4 - 4
1 = (4 / 4) / (4 / 4)
2 = (4 / 4) + (4 / 4)
3 = (4 + 4 + 4) / 4
4 = ((4 - 4) * 4) + 4
5 = ((4 * 4) + 4) / 4
6 = 4 + ((4 + 4) / 4)
7 = (4 + 4) - (4 / 4)
8 = 4 + 4 + 4 - 4
9 = 4 + 4 + (4 / 4)

3. Three knights of the round table addressed with urgency to a meeting with King Arturo. During the long journey decided to stop at an inn to restore your energy.

Each calls for a steak to the innkeeper and urged him to have dinner ready in thirty minutes.

The innkeeper is a problem, since only two fillets can be cooked simultaneously and each should be cooked for 10 minutes on each side, so that in 20 minutes would have cooked two of them but would need 20 minutes to cook the third.

How will the innkeeper cook the hree steaks in 30 minutes with the above limitations?

........Answer:

The chef put the first two threads (say 1 and 2) and cook for one side.

After 10 minutes brings one of the steak (steak 1) you flip the second and third place to cook.

After 10 minutes, the thread 2 is fully cooked and steaks 1 and 3 are cooked on one side so that in 10 minutes will cook the other side and have them all ready in 30 minutes.

STARS IN SPACE

In the city is difficult to see stars in the sky but is incredible when you go out of town and see in the sky thousands of stars, but it is here that came to my mind the question: what happens to the stars? and inside information that I found that:

A star is a massive, luminous ball of plasma held together by gravity. At the end of its lifetime, a star can also contain a proportion of degenerate matter. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun, which is the source of most of the energy on Earth.

Almost everything about a star is determined by its initial mass, including essential characteristics such as luminosity and size, as well as the star's evolution, lifespan, and eventual fate.

When stars form in the present Milky Way galaxy they are composed of about 71% hydrogen and 27% helium, as measured by mass, with a small fraction of heavier elements.

But a star life start when interactions occur in the nucleus, supporting the body hidrostásis and this remains luminous appearance. As part of these interactions are dilated in time, the outer parts of the object begin to merge their atoms. At a distance, the process stalls, to shrink back to the state in which external processes of melting and start over again is an increase of diameter. These interactions produce iridescence rates much lower, so the appearance is usually red. In this phase, the object enters the stage of collapse, so the force of gravity and the interactions of fusion in the outer layers of the object, produce a constant change in diameter, which just overcoming the gravitational forces on a moment in which the outer layers and elements have not merged.

You could say that the collapse process ends at the time that the star mergers produce material, and depending on the total mass of the star, fusion material degenerative process will enter its collapse to defeat the forces producing a supernova.

  

Is important to get questions all around us because "questions of science, science and progress". for this reason when you saw something always think what, why, how??

Alejandro Jodorowsky says that in this universe it is impossible to think that we´re alone, that species in the World are the only ones. We are not the only one, and obviously I´m not talking about those big carnivorous lizards, hungry for human flesh, which look at us as we look a lobster. Sometimes I think about that and I realize that maybe Hollywood and fiction movies have made us imagine so many creatures that could live outside, the problem is that at first science fiction was used to create or metaphorically represent the real situation taking it on points or moments as "absurd" that seem incredible ... "The reality is becoming all that we had warned by fiction".

All this in order to tell you this news that maybe at this moment is going around the world. NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) through his website post an article in which they mention that they found a microbe in la Toxic Lake in California (toxic because the arsenic that the lake contains). The microbe identified as a “” has the ability to live with this element (arsenic), those facts could prove the theory that other Planets could be home for other kids of species, different to us and to any other species that lives in Earth. That´s because the chemistry of the lake in where the microbe, was found is similar to the chemistry of Mars.

I´m fascinated with the idea of other kinds of life, so afraid because maybe we´re not alone, but even with other people, even more even better. Unless movies are right and Aliens want us for dinner. :S

I'm going to make some self promotion jaja

I've already finished my major as an architect and I would like to offer my services to anybody who wants some advice related to architecture mainly about designing new spaces or redesigning spaces already built, I can make architectural plans,renders, design furniture as you wish depending on your necessity, and many other things. HOW TO STUDY

Do we know how to study efficiently?
For some people whose works and studies, like me, or students with full time, it is a little hard to organize our time.
A few days ag0, I read a book about some "tips" that it would be able to help us.
- Make a plan with schedule flexible each week with all your activities.
- Try to study one hour, at least, or three hours at the most; you can rest for five or ten minutes between each hour.
- Choose a good space in your house or a workroom with fresh air and good light, preference without distractios.
-Pay attention what you are studying.
- Never memorize something that you do not understand; it is better you review your notes and write or repeat them to help to your memory.
- Look for another ways that they have some relation with the theme like movies, magazines, internet, etc.
- Read more and better, this one to help you to increase your vocabulary. In some cases, you will need to read word by word like languages or maths.
- Make clear, short and concise notes to help memory. If you prefer to underline or use a color in some important things.
- Try to know all the proofs and theories.
- Do not review all your notes a day before the test. Problably you finish some crazy, ja.
Finish each week with a review weekly,
Finish each month with a review monthly, and so on.
-Finally, the day of the exam, you must have everything that you will need. Read the instructions and try to answer the most part, and if you have some time, you check your test.

A TRUNCATED PYRAMID UNDER ZOCALO!!

Have you recently heard about this new project? It is called "scratchground" I think it's the opposite of skyscraper.

Bunker's architects are planning this project that consists in give a solution to the need of space and a kind of historic preservation right there under square"zocalo". They are trying to lead architecture to the last consequences.

It is planned that the developed building will be around 330 m underground, about 775 thousand square meters in a truncated pyramid form hosting museums, shops, apartments and some offices.

If you ask me it sounds very interesting but what is behind this? I dont want to imagine the caos it will cause.

Hi everyone!

Today I have no idea about what should I write… I feel tired; you know is the last week of the semester so, I have to give to my teachers all my projects and final papers and also I have to answer some exams.

This week was really difficult, on Monday I expose my Direct Marketing Plan for Henkel; I thought it was good, but it wasn’t; my teacher says that she told to our group leader that all the teams have to decorate the auditorium with things related to our product. But guess what… the group leader didn´t tell us anything about that, so my teacher dismissed our grade, I felt a little angry because it was unfair (a month working to finally fail with something that wasn´t our fault) Whatever I was happy because it was the only mistake we made.

On Tuesday my team and I had a review of our Public Relation Plan; that thing in specific makes me feel really stressed because we bet with our teacher that if our plan was really good and we grade 10, he will gave to each one an extra point in final grade (and some of us really need it); but if our plan wasn´t as good for a 10, he will grade us with a 0. So “we” work so hard in that plan, but is very demanding, because we are working with a company that doesn´t have any kind of public relationships (that situation makes our work harder). However, my teacher told us that the plan wasn´t bad, but we have to modify some objectives, media, places etc…

Finally today was the worst day of the week (in fact, I hate Thursdays :P) first of all it was the last Public Relation Plan review, I have my macroeconomics exam after that and also I have another exam at the afternoon (the one for the FCE course). My day didn´t start well because I woke up late, I took a shower and then I turned on the computer to finish some plan details. When I finished it was very late… When I arrive to school I have to wait for two hour for the review, but it was too late, it was time for the exam; the teacher leave the classroom and also he told me to go to his office after the exam.

The exam was very easy; before the teacher gave it to us, I was nervous because his exams are very difficult, but this time was very easy; well, not at all, I get confused in some questions. After that I wait for my PR review, fortunately now everything is ok.

As you can see, those are some reasons to believe that the last week at school is the most difficult an exhausted thing ever. Now I just want to go to my bed (I´m not to work today) and relax. I want to sleep, I need it, maybe that’s why the things I´m writing has no sense or sequence.

TODAY´S MARRIAGE TREND

Now a day is very common that couples decide not to get marriage, it is because of the frequently problems that they develop since engagement as economic, social, or religion problems, the trend of today is only to live together without any compromises.

Very usually, when a partner has a problem, just disappears of the house and comes back in whichever day… and don’t pass anything, when someone of they decide that the relation is not good or find another person, the couple just brakes the relation, and searches for another one.

Besides these typical problems in partners, there are many others that didn’t occur in the past, women for example many years ago did not work as today, so this is another cause for starting the problem.

In other way, men today don’t want to get obligations as marriage, and much less to have a baby, so, a marriage that can lives all the life beside his/her partner is not possible today.

As a result of this trend, couples are not having babies, by consequence, the rate of population is getting lower and lower, no matter how is the socioeconomic level, even underdeveloped countries are becoming like this.

The lifestyle, technology, and information of today have done possible this change in world, but may be this trend is not too good, because if population is decreasing, perhaps in many years the human specie could not exist.   

So, we should search very well in the moment of choose a person as pair, because now is too difficult find someone who wants to life forever with his/her…

SOME SENSUAL CONSTRUCTIONS

Hello!! This week I read an article about "the ten sensual constructions" and these are which I like the most.

First of all are "Absolut World Tower" in Mississauga, Canada . They are apartments that were built by MAD architects office which is seated in capital of China. The building is a world tendency of curved skyscrapers those curves made it one of the most sexys buildings.

On second place is "The Batllo House" designed by architect Antoni Gaudí, it is located in Barcelona, Spain. Their main characteristics are their balconies and their curved and diagonal lines that gives it certain sensuality. It is consider as world heritage.

The third one I like the most is "Walt Disney concert hall" designed by architect Frank Gehry. All the exterior is made of stainless steel curves, and the main auditorium is made of hardwood panel. Its characteristics are curved lines and big volumes.

Finally there is a special one for me, "The Fallingwater house" I have to say that I like a lot this house. It is located in Bear Run Pensilvania, USA it was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This architecture is mainly knowed as organic architecture, which means that it tries to integrate environment factors, native materials, and all the construction process with humans.


So these are the three of the ten more sensual constructions that i liked the mos.

Wings Of Desire

Hi again!! Well this is my second post in the same week jaja, and it's what it is because I know I owe the teacher some writings before the evaluation. So, after explaining myself and greeting you I wanna let you know that for today I'd wish make a little suggestion about a movie.

There are some films nowadays which seem interesting to go to see, but my suggestion will be about a classic movie you could have not seen it. The most likely is that you have seen the remake starring by Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan, called "City of Angels", and if you liked that, a think you can't miss the older version.

The movie I'm talking about is "Wings of Desire" which was made by Wim Wenders at 1987 in Berlin, Germany. As in "City of Angels", in Wenders' movie the main character is an angel who is fascinated with human existance. Next to another angel, he likes a lot to watch how people live and try to enjoy life trough them until a beautiful woman appears and makes him want to be felt by her in any way.

In fact, this film is totally different than the newer version, and the way the story is told I like so much more. You can really feel how those angels wish to live and how the main angel falls in love. For the people who has seen City of Angels and expect the same ending, I have to say that is very different and if you ask me, is even better. So, this is just my single opinion about film and you're totally free to do what ever you want, but I'm sure if you see you won't regret...

my best dream

In November 26^th i had the best dream in all my life because I dream with my little dead cousin!!!

My dream was about that one day I was taking classes and suddenly I received a call, the name that appeared in my cell phone was “Ely” (the name of my cousin), well I answered the call but instead my cousin the person that was calling me was my uncle (Ely’s father) he told me that Ely couldn’t resist more the cancer and she died. In this moment I left the school so sad, crying and very furious!!! And immediately I ran to Ely’s house, but the incredible thing was that the most nearby subway is at 2 hrs to my school but in my dream the subway was in front of my school!!

I took the subway but it was not normal because the platform was like an elevator!! And then when the doors opened inside was my cousin with her big smile and healthy!!!

I came in and the doors closed in this moment I was very happy but I knew that my cousin was already dead!! So in this moment I decided enjoy all the time that I could with Ely because when the doors will open again my cousin hadn’t been here!! All this time, inside of me had a sad felling but at the same time I was happy because I was with Ely!!! I don’t know what’s the meaning of the dreams but I thing that my dream was other opportunity to stay with Ely because I love her with all my heart and nowadays at 11 days to her 3 month of death I can understand why, why and why my cousin died if she was the best person that I can know!!

Meaningless things you like!!

Hi you there!! Well, for this post I want you to think a little bit about something, like in a small and easy excercise.

As a result of a great experience i had yesterday, in which my day was totally got better with a simple thing, I remembered about a short movie called "Foutaises" or "Things I like, things i hate" because of its name in English, which is very funny and one of my favorites shortfilms ever, made by Amelie's creator Jean Pierre Jeunet.

So, the exercise is the easiest thing to do. You just will have to see the movie here (it lastes around 7 minutes) and then you have to think about your special meaningless tastes, just like the main character does. I really think these kind of memories can trade our days and make us smile or laugh and that totally worth it!!!

This time I speak of a magical town called Real del Monte is in Pachuca Hidalgo, is about 15 minutes of Pachuca, in that people can spend a very pleasant, as it is very quiet and silver are many things a good price ... you can go with your family or your partner, there are also inexpensive restaurants and the food is pretty good and can eat the traditional PASTE, there's many stews, but if you go at this time recommend that sheltered them very well because quite cold .... A finally when they go on the Mexico-Pachuca highway test Pachus veryyyyyyyy delicious snow are going to love
