FRIDAY IN “CAFE ALAMEDA”

Last friday I went to a place called “Café Alameda” which is located in front of “Parque Hidalgo” Hidalgo #17 in Azcapotzalco. If I was told about how this place is, I mean the way it is decorate, even the frontage, I wouldn’t have gone. But I´m glad that nobody does it.

In general, “Café Alameda” is the ideal place for enjoying a variety of cultural and artistic proposes, it’s an open forum that fosters the music in their different genres, formal and informal poetry, paintings, photography, theater and performances. People told us that they have been housed quality excellent nights with their invited artists. In my personal opinion here the main attraction is the artist in turn who make the environment.

Another characteristic is that they make by their self a variety of funny drinks made of coffee, wines, liquors, and beers, all of them with original names and receipts. They are famous by their cocktail bar.

I have to tell you that it was my first time there and when I got in there was an artist playing trova. However it was not the trova as we know, it was alternative trova, if you ask me the difference I wouldn’t know how to explain jaja you need to listen it, I leave you this link so you can listen one of his songs, www.youtube.com/watch?v=i26m26NN_hU I dont think this is trova but he says so, the artist calls Phito Torres. This show was until 9:00pm then the rock band started, for me they were the best of the night. The band not only plays music, they act as comedians too. I laugh a lot until 2:00 am! I didn't catch any video from them but If you want to laugh, you have to go there.

The point is that it’s a nice place to enjoy! I recommend it.
