Well, that was a good introduction to be able to enjoy your trip trough this truly exciting land. So, first step would be getting to Scotland either Glasgow or Edinburgh, where you can find some non expensive accommodation. Then, our second step is getting some way to travel to the north.
The most suitable option, in my opinion, would be renting a car and driving trough the highway. In that way, we’ll get the opportunity to stop anytime we wish to admire amazing lochs and mountains carved by wind.
In your way to the highlands, you’ll find the “William Wallace Monument”, the “Loch Long”, uncountable landscapes! If you think there’s missing something, you are right, you mustn’t forget to get to the extremely famous “Loch Ness” and trying to capture in media the real Nessy!
You’ll have so much fun and amazing experiences, but in the other you’ll be really tired. So, my final advice, take some rest at Inverness, the biggest city in the highlands, which means it is not that big. In fact you’ll find a pretty and cozy town which will make you think in “Coca-Cola Village”.

I really want to go there. Maybe next year. And you forgot to mention the medieval castles you can find in the middle of the landscape!
