I´m not much of a big reader, in fact i just started reading again about nine months ago. In this time i haven't read a lot of books, but "The Last Don" is my favorite at this time, i enjoy reading whodunit (i think this is the name of the genre). I really like anything from novels to videogames related to he mafia. I wish i were one of the guys in those stories, they have lots of money, power, cars, beautiful women, and some of they run casinos.
I am willing to finish reading that book, and then buy "omerta" and "The sicilian" written by Mario Puzo.
And i wish you could recommend me some books related to this kind of histories.

I haven't read them, but I've heard that Mario Puzo's Godfather trilogy is really good.

And, about detective/action/thrillers, I'm a big fan of James Patterson's books. He writes some of the most addictive books I've read, that hook you from the first 3 pages. His first novel is Kiss the Girls. Really recommendable, if you can find it.
